考 TOCFL practice for learners in Taiwan
Short answer: the next TOCFL listening and reading test in Taiwan is on 14–15 November 2026, and registration runs 5–20 October 2026, according to the official 2026 Taiwan schedule published by SC-TOP. The test has three bands (A, B, C) and six levels. Wu Ji Bi Fan’s TOCFL track is practice only: it helps you find a level and rehearse the format, but it does not issue an official score or guarantee a pass.
Dates checked against tocfl.edu.tw on 25 September 2026. The organiser can change its schedule, so confirm there before you register.

TOCFL bands and levels, explained
The TOCFL is organised in three bands, each split into two levels, for six levels in all. SC-TOP aligns them with the CEFR:
- Band A 入門基礎級: Level 1 入門級 (A1) and Level 2 基礎級 (A2).
- Band B 進階高階級: Level 3 進階級 (B1) and Level 4 高階級 (B2).
- Band C 流利精通級: Level 5 流利級 (C1) and Level 6 精通級 (C2).
A separate Novice band (準備級) sits below Band A for beginners. Speaking and writing are booked by band, so you choose Band A, B or C when you register. Since August 2021, score reports also show the matching level of the Taiwan Benchmarks for the Chinese Language (TBCL).

Results and certificates
For a listening and reading, speaking, or writing test held on or after 1 January 2026, in Taiwan or overseas, SC-TOP issues a digital score report and a digital certificate instead of paper. They have the same effect as the old paper certificates: official electronic documents from Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, which can be used for school admission and jobs. SC-TOP no longer prints or mails them. You may print the PDF yourself; SC-TOP does not stamp a printout.
Download opens on the score release date for your sitting. Log in to the TOCFL online registration system; it emails a reminder that day. For tests in Taiwan, that date is on the formal test schedule. The files can be downloaded any number of times for two years from the test date. Save your own copy: after two years the download closes.
To rehearse the format before test day, see how the practice track works. It does not issue this certificate.

How Wu Ji Bi Fan’s TOCFL track helps
The track is built for learners who want to practise Taiwan Mandarin in the format the test uses, with Traditional characters and Taiwan readings throughout.
- A 45-item placement test to suggest which band to aim for before you book.
- 100 listening comprehension items for regular practice.
- 24 writing tasks with model answers and rubrics, for the writing test.
- Mock listening and reading papers, laid out to the format tocfl.edu.tw publishes.
The placement test and listening practice are free. The mock papers and writing tasks are part of Pro. Outside the track, the belts and fourteen disciplines build the vocabulary, characters and tones the test draws on. Everything runs offline, with no account.
What the app does not do
Wu Ji Bi Fan reports the share of a practice paper you got right and the level that suggests. It does not issue official TOCFL scores or certificates, and it does not guarantee that you will pass. TOCFL does not publish a conversion from practice results to official scores, so no practice app can give you one. Register for the real test through the organiser. Wu Ji Bi Fan is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by SC-TOP or the organisers of the TOCFL.

How do I download and check a TOCFL digital certificate?
Log in to the TOCFL online registration system, open 成績查詢 (Check Test Results) on the left, and choose the test type and session. Click download, then enter the verification code emailed to you to save the PDF score report and certificate. Upload that original PDF to the Ministry of Education: Digital Diploma Verification System; the QR code on the document opens it. SC-TOP does not verify a printout or a photo. If a school registered you, the school can download the files, or you can use the account and password in the score-announcement email.
